I’m happy someone asked to use one of my pictures
I posted on the Amateur Photographer Forum and was asked if the pictures could be used on another blog; Scene That. Thank you Mark for asking.
I’d titled the AP post as “New police equipment?”

Manchester Day Parade
The Beetham tower dominates the Manchester skyline this shot is from 3 miles away.

I shot this just to see what kind of detail the EOS400D can resolve with the 75-300 lens.
Girls of Manchester Pride
Went to the Manchester Pride parade on 25/8/07. Ended up taking over 200 shots. Here are some of the girls from the parade and crowd.

Perhaps my favourite:

My walk home
<>Had to drop my van off at the garage to get a water leak fixed, on the walk home I came across this lot:

Fairly standard with no shelter for inclement weather.
Into Sale Water Park, this one

And its view

A bit further along

With this view

The view from these benches need to improved by the cutting back of the vegetation, must email Trafford Council.
Crossing the River Mersey at Jackson’s Boat, it began to rain.

The girl in the distance was walking two dogs and had no coat, I had the camera, only the telephoto was at home.
The next bench

The next four are all in Chorlton Ees

Crossing Chorlton Brook into Ivy Green

and the view from this bench over the Brook Bridge

Just after I took this the wet lady with the two dogs came round the corner, and gave me a right funny look as if to say why are you taking that shot?
If only she knew

And the final 2 shots in St. Clement’s graveyard

All in all a successful walk covering different styles of bench from all wood, through wood & cast iron, to all steel.
